As you can see below, Glen Ellen Community Church is a church focused on reaching out to the community to be a blessing to those around us. We count it a privilege to assist others in Jesus’ Name through the following ministries:
Thanksgiving Food Baskets
Thank you for choosing one or more of the following Food Item Lists and purchasing the items on the list so that we can give away at least 15 Thanksgiving meals. Simply decide which food item list (s) you will bring, indicate them on the sign-up sheet being passed around, purchase the items on the list (s) you choose, and return the food you purchased to Mayflower Hall by Sunday, Nov 18th. On that day, the food boxes will be assembled and distributed.
Food Item List #1
* One fresh or frozen turkey 12-14 lbs.
*One heavy aluminum roasting pan.
Food Item List #2
*One box Mrs Cubbison’s Stuffing
* 1 pkg turkey gravy. * 1 large can pumpkin
* 1 can cranberry sauce * 1 can evaporated milk
* 1 box 6 oz Jello gelatin * 1 bag mini marshmallows
Food Item List #3
* One can each of com and green beans
* 1 can fruit cocktail * 1 can whole pitted olives
* 5 lb bag of potatoes * 2 pkgs tortillas (flour + corn)
* 1 can sweetened condensed milk.

God’s Bounty Food Pantry
Glen Ellen Community Church has a small food pantry called “God’s Bounty” and it is purposed to provide a food box to those who are in need. While our supplies are limited, we can provide several meals out of a single food box which can help a family out in an emergency. If you would like a food box, simply contact us at 707.996.1479
Benevolence Ministry
On the first Sunday of each month, Glen Ellen Community Church collects a benevolence offering from its members and friends for the purpose of assisting those in need in the Glen Ellen Community. These funds are limited, but can be a real help in an emergency situation. Persons desiring assistance can call the church at 707.996.1479
Cup of Water
“Cup of Water” is a ministry of 5 families from Southern California who believe in the work of Glen Ellen Community Church so much that they contribute monthly for the work here. The purpose of this fund is to provide assistance to those in need at the discretion of the pastor. For anyone requiring assistance, please call the church at 707.996.4596.
Thanksgiving Food Boxes
Just before Thanksgiving each year, the members and friends of Glen Ellen Community Church provide food boxes for the needy in and surrounding the Glen Ellen Area. In 2011, we completed 20 food boxes which contained a turkey, fresh vegetables, and all the trimmings.
