It is when we recognize that fear comes in to control us, to hinder us, and to keep us from the will of God, and when we know that the Lord has given us the authority over it, that we don’t have to accept it any longer. God calls us to things our hearts and minds can’t even imagine (1 Corinthians 2:9), and fear is the enemy’s great tactic to keep us from realizing all that God has for us. Fear keeps us operating in the flesh and not in the spirit. God is calling His believers – you – to let your spirit rise up, take authority over all the works of the enemy in your life, and walk with Him in the spirit.
It is a choice. It will take faith. God is faithful and will speak to you and walk you right past any fears and into His purpose and destiny for your life.
Isaiah 55:8-9 – “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
We know this as believers, and yet we are still, too often, paralyzed by fear to move, speak, or walk with Him when His ways don’t make any sense to our flesh.
If the enemy can paralyze you, he effectively immobilizes and silences you.
Psalm 34:4 – I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
If fear is holding you back, seek the Lord. He is faithful and will deliver you from all fear. Refuse to let the enemy continue to have any control in your life! God will walk you through every step of turning from fear just as he did for David. His deliverance will lack nothing, and freedom will be your new song of praise.
Freedom to live apart from the criticism of man. Freedom to live in the wonder of God. Freedom to live for the audience of One. Freedom to chase every way, every purpose, and every path He has called you to take. Freedom to live in communion and fellowship with Him.
